Endodontic Retreatment

What is endodontic retreatment?

In some cases, a tooth that has received root canal treatment fails to heal. Occasionally, the tooth becomes painful or diseased months or even years after successful treatment. Root canal retreatment may be able to create a more favorable environment for healing that would allow you to save your tooth.
